I just got off the phone with my mother. She sounds much better and said she's feeling a good deal better. They may let her come home tomorrow.
I haven't been able to visit her in the hospital as they don't want her to have exposure to any possible infections right now. Her husband is the only one allowed to see her and he has to scrub first. Her immune system is weak since she had chemo and she has some sort of infection which is what make her ill. They've been pumping antibiotics into her as well as potassium.
It was good to hear her voice a lot stronger than yesterday. Amazing how much difference a day can make.
Of course she was all concerned because she wasn't able to do my laundry for me. I told her not to worry, it was already taken care of. She never lets me do my own laundry. I guess it makes her feel useful.
