I remember when I started my blog. I posted a few articles, and then I was ranked number eight or something. I thought: "What the heck is that?"

It was because the site was only a few days old when I started. Lucky coincedence.

So far so good. You're a pretty prolific poster. The more you post the higher you'll go.
