What does it take to get any attention around my work!? Should I roam around my desk rambling nonsense?
It is Admin. Asst. Day! Not one word all day long! I feel so unloved and unappreciated.
Pathetic? Probably, but I deserve some recognition. Especially today. I have not heard a thank you or good job.....you suck....anything.
Ok done whining now. I am off work...yes I am STILL at work........unappreciated..... Call me Crazy :)

I actually sent out a company-wide email last year on Sysadmin day thanking the other Sysadmins in the company for all of the hard work they did. Just as an appreciative pick-me up for my colleagues. A lot of people thought I was joking around as usual. Some people actually sneered at the thought that Sysadmins around the world should get any shred of respect. Think about that next time the e-mail server crashes or the Internet goes down. But I digress.

Don't feel bad crazy lady. We *all* get the shaft and for the most part not enough recognition for the hard work we do for someone else. FWIW, Happy [insert-PC-phrase-of-the-year-for-Admins] Day!

I think, what you did, is great! (and proves a point) the big wigs become so big that they forget it is the people behind the scenes actually running the company! If it weren't for the support staff they wouldn't be there.

Anyway, keep up the good work, all of you! (and me!)
