Getting Inebriated In NC

There is a small bar in Dunn, NC. As far as I know it's the only bar in Dunn, NC. It just happens to be on a back street and just happens to have an empty lot across the street from it. I just happen to know how to get to it.
It's not a fancy place by any means. It's a small redneck joint in a bad neighborhood. Better than sitting at a truckstop being bored. For the most part it's local guys sitting around drinking beer and shots of cactus juice trying to impress each other. I grew bored rather quickly.
I had a few beers and was just about to leave when this couple came in. He looked to be a typical redneck but she was, ummm, interesting looking. She was pretty much your basic white trash gal but rather nice to look at so I decided to hang around for a bit. Hey, anything is better than Gilligan Island reruns.
A little while later a couple of girls came in. One was black and the other looked hispanic but spoke with a NC accent. And she was cute. I decided to have another beer. The two of them got their drinks and started shooting pool. I kind of enjoyed watching them bending over the pool table to play their game and eventually wound up chatting with hem and finally shooting pool with them.
I had a pretty good time. But, as I have to be in Statesville failry early tomorrow I begged off and made my way back to the truck.
I am still convinced that there is something wrong with the water in this state but at least the beer seems ok.

, is that because you've had "La Tourista" from the water? or because the locals seem to be affected by the water??
