I guess I just have one of those extremely average faces. All of my life I have been told how I look like so and so, someone's cousin or someone's friend or whatever. If I were keeping a list of all of the people I have been told that I resemble or am the "spitting image" of it would contain hundreds of names.
One forum I post at, a shaving forum, has a thread that is basically a "post your pic" type thing. I did. Someone told me I should be a spy because I have one of those faces that I look like several people they have worked with and a description of me would be useless to anyone trying to track me down.
It must be true because I've heard this stuff all of my life.
When I look in the mirror I just see me. To me I don't resemble anyone else at all. But maybe that's the point. I have one of those really ordinary looking faces. Nothing special or noteable.
Maybe that's why I have an easy time making acquaintences in bars and truckstops. Perhaps that's why I was always good at customer relations and sales. I have one of those very mundane faces that reminds people of someone they know and like? I always thought it was my personality and superior people skills, but maybe it was just my ordinary face.
Could be. I can live with that.
Well, if I ever do anything to warrant a wanted poster it should make things interesting anyway. All of those hundreds of people I supposedly look like will be getting hauled into jail
