Cursor displaying underneath buttons

I realize this problem has been discussed before but I can't seem to find it using Search. This hasn't happened in quite a long time now, but just tonight my cursor is being displayed underneath the system buttons (Min, Max,Close). Someone mentioned a quick fix for this and that's what I'm wanting to know. This only seems to happen with per-pixel skins.

it think it was min/restore or reapply skin

Nope.... neither of those worked. I tried applying a non per-pixel skin and the problem didn't happen, but as soon as I re-applied the per-pixel skin, the problem returned.

Addendum: What did work was logging off and logging on again.

This happens to me when I play games (Total Gaming games). It effects Windowblinds, Object Dock and Rainlender. My only fix is to reboot. I think it has something todo with CursorXP because it doesn't do it with Window cursors.

Too bad there isn't a solution (other than shift-control C to get the windows cursor). However it's nice to know it's not just my system.

If you have 'Auto Hide' enabled, turn it off.

Thanks for the "shift-control-C" tip! Happens to me, infrequently. I ignore it and move on. Imperfect 1s and 0s, anyway! It's a wonder the stuff works at all... LogOff/LogOn fixes it. So does maximizing windows, refreshing desktop sometimes. Thanks, yraq, for the link. I generally pay attention to Neil about issues like this.
