Leaky Roof

Well, ok it isn't exactly the roof that leaks but rather the skylights but since they're mounted in the roof it's close enough.

Ever since I bought this little place the skylights have leaked whenever it rains. It's annoying but somehow so far it hasn't been annoying enough for me to actually do something about it. Maybe I'm lazy. Well, ok, I am lazy. When I come in off the road I just don't want to spend time actually working.

As I'm writing this I'm watching the water drip down from the skylights to the towels I laid down to absorb it and thinking that I really do need to do something about this.

I've decided that I am going to make plans to do some home repairs the next time I'm home. I'll fix the skylights and install that tankless water heater I've been wanting to buy. I know how to do these things, I'm actually pretty handy, but I go into lazy mode whenever I'm home. I guess I really need to get over that.

Yet another boring blog, that's the way it goes.

Oh, and I trimmed my toenails today.

,  the ending is truly good!!

we don't have a downpour going on here,  however it is "drizzling"  and gray,  our utility room has a small leak where a pipe comes into the room.  Only leaks during a hard storm.

Even those little leaks can cause expensive damage. I know this and have let this stuff go way too long due to sheer laziness. I know better.

Well, I've developed procrastination to an art form. I'll do it next time I'm home.

Besides, can't fix the roof while it's raining.

Haha, so glad you finally trim those toe nails! We don't want you to cut Socrates with those long nails now!!

Oh yeah, get to fixing that leak or he'll start complaining about that leak!
