What Super Power would you choose?

What Super Power would you choose?

You want to be a super hero?

There's a lot of super powers to choose from.  Flight, super strength, invulnerability, super speed, invisibility.

But if you had to choose one? Which would it be?

Being invulernable would be kind of nice but on the other hand, you could get stuck in a bad situation.  That's where super strength would be nice.  But super strength would be problematic because you could really hurt yourself.

The more I think about it, the more I conclude that most powers need to come in pairs with invulernability being one of them.  Take flight.  How fun would flight really be in practice as bugs and other things start flying in your face or you accidentally hit a tree or telephone wire or something?

Invisibility wouldn't require another power but I'm not sure what good it would do.  Yea, you can spy on people. Meh.

There's plenty of other powers that I haven't listed. But if you could only choose one power, which would it be?

it is a fact that we use only a very small part of our brain

No, it isn't. That's a lie that's been perpetuated for a long time, but brain scans show that we us all of it, albeit at different times. Arguments in support of that are philosophical, with no basis in reality. Perhaps we could manage to someday use more at once, and maybe that would have some effects, as in Stargate SG-1, but we already use all of it. There are no hidden pockets that we've yet to access.

I'd have to go with Jennifer on the telekinesis power. Although not invincible, I could quickly summon shields to protect from materials in the environment. Plus I could fly by standing on a board and causing it to move with my powers. Cloud surfing anyone?

I would choose the Voice or use of Jedi Mind Tricks.

"You want fries with that."

Time Stop / Time Control

Lots of creative things you could do "if only there were enough time"

The only problem would be premature ageing. If you used it a lot you'd be a lot older than you should be. The costs in plastic surgery alone would be nasty.

Yea, but 'withdrawals' from the banks would be easy.

I think I already have the "super power" of invisibility.

I am quite big, but I always manage to be overlooked. Sometimes I walk right behind (or even in front of) a person and they ask other people if they know where I am. A few weeks ago I walked behind a group of fellow students (I was a student for 4 weeks) through the entire university building, to and from a location, and nobody noticed me.

Is that bad?
