Multimedia VKEY support - and a couple of small nuances

Hi there,

I've been using Multiplicity for about 8 months now, and am curious as to whether we will see a version which supports the interception of the Multimedia keys on all modern keyboards - such as Play, Pause, Stop, Previous, Next, etc.

Also, with Multiplicity and a Logitech G5 mouse, Mouse4 is set to be "Back" in web browsers, but it is only sent to the secondary when the active window on the primary is a web browser also, which means that 95% of the time, I can't actually use this the way it's meant to be used.

Also, what's with this create post screen not supporting the enter key? I had to copy and paste line breaks from notepad to paragraph this!

Thanks

I'd love to see this too. The MS Natural Keyboard is a heck of a lot more boring with its silver buttons broken!

Most of the additional keys on Microsoft keyboards should be sent to the secondary if the secondary also runs intellitype.

The problem with the logitech mouse is unfixable because the logitech software is running on the primary and is checking the active window.  It is unaware of what is on the secondary.

Ok, so if I install the Logitech drivers on the secondaries, they will work? I'm using Logitech keyboards, not Microsoft. I've tested it (all but the laptop have Logitech drivers loaded as they have Logitech keyboards attached) and the keys do not function. Primary is a Logitech G15, secondary is a Logitech MX100 Cordless. Would love to see this functionality fixed up!

Thanks for looking into the mouse thing though. I guess I can just write a dummy app or something to apply Mouse4 actions to for transmitting to other machines.

PS... I still need to use Notepad to copy Line Breaks in posts in these forums via SDC. Is this a known bug?

Installing the logitech drivers on the secondary will probably not help.  We put in specific support for Microsoft keyboard and it was only possible due to how their drivers work.

If the actions happen on the primary while controlling the secondary then the key is unlikely to support being sent to the secondary.  If it does nothing when controlling a secondary then it may be being sent but have no controller software on the secondary to handle it (so in theory the logitech software might help)
