Things You Wish You Knew About Me

... And Now You Do.

I’m an ex-novelist (two under the belt, neither existing, I deleted them)

I really don’t like vegetables. Nuff said.

The longest poem I ever wrote was a 300 + line Terza Rima entitled “My Child Of Sin”

I think people have to be on some serious drugs to think that I am a good writer.

I’m a twin (paternal)

I don’t think I have very many talents.

At one point in my life I studied gynecology to continue into college.

At one point in my life I could play nine musical instruments.

I’m hyperactive.

I’m shy and a loner.

I have studied four foreign languages (and never learned a damn one)

I dress the same as I did in high school.

I’m bloody long winded.

I had a crush on my girlfriend even though I was dating someone else at the time.

I’m a hopeless romantic.

In grade school I had the skill and vocabulary understanding of a college senior.

I’m the reason for Mount Pleasant High School having a 3-5-page essay rule.

Nothing makes me happier than making people smile and laugh, thought clowns scare the shit out of me, thanks Mr. Gacy.

I have a love of old, old out of date books.

I have a dead rat called Petey as a pet. (I bet I spend less on pet supplies than anyone else that has a pet on here.)

I have excellent penmanship but my actual writing is damn near incoherent and illegible.

My mom and dad didn’t know they were gonna have me until I was coming out my mom. Fucking doctors!

At 72º I begin to get cold enough to put on a sweater.

Dead guys are some of my favorite authors.

I am almost self-taught in everything that I do.

I am a “deep” thinker but I call myself shallow.

I don’t take compliments well because I don’t want to become egotistical.

I think that shit, fart, and vomit humor is some of the funniest humor around.

I’m a walking contradiction.

Girls to me make the best kind of friends.

I’m LAZY!

I’m messy as hell, just look at my room.

Have I said that I’m long winded?

That’s all.

Adios.

LOL!! That was great just had to comment, I also made my school have an essay page rule, I was heartbroken while at school and I wrote what I thought was a great short (not quite) story, and the only comment I got was, please can you make them shorter in future I don't have enough time to read them :(

" I also made my school have an essay page rule"

After reading Homer's "The Odyssey," we had an assignment to write an epic of our own, suggested length of 2-3 pages. The following monday I handed in a 40-page epic in prose. There is now a page limit for that assigment.

Honesty IS the best policy.... so they say...
I think it's great that you can look at yourself honestly!
I never got any rules changed at school...I barely followed the ones they had! ;)
I enjoyed it!

Sincerity is better than honesty, in my opinion.

First of all, why did you delete the novels? Grrrr...I would have been your biggest fan.

You're a twin....for some reason I find that irritatingly cool. It's not fair that I don't have a twin. It's just not fair.

You COULD play 9 musical intruments, but not anymore?

I really hate the phrase, "Hopless Romantic".....it sounds so fatalistic. I prefer passionate...about everything...not just romance.

""""Nothing makes me happier than making people smile and laugh""""" You and I are more alike than you know.

Old, out of date books rock my world.

About being self-taught...I never thought about it, but me too! I'm a late learner, but that's only because I refuse to have something taught to me. For years all kinds of people tried to teach me to ride a bike, but it wasn't until I was 12 years old that I decided I would teach myself. Driving didn't happen until the age of 17....

I am shallow and I call myself shallow.

""""I’m a walking contradiction."""" That statement made me love you more than anything else you've ever written. Someone knows how I feel.

I'm also messy and lazy as hell....we wouldn't be good together.

Again, good thing you have the wonderful Jessica.

I live in Fort Worth Texas, just so you know.

I forgot to say that I love how you can put the things into words that I find so difficult to convey.

Trin, I think I actually laughed on your last comment... what I put into words isnt difficult to convey, or even think about, its just there, you just have to describe it in teh best way you can using all the senses you have. now to answer your question. As to deleteing the novels, they werent up to par with what I wanted to make them and I could not see actually rewriting them, so I let them be lost to time, or what its commonly called these days, the delete button.
For the instruments, I stopped practicing, and lost it in the back of my head, its still there, but only dimly lit fragments of course. I learned to ride a bike when I was 7.
As for the lazy and messy, I heard once that all great minds are messy, I think even Einstein was messy, but lets not compair me to Einstein, for I am no match to his vulgar, yet beautiful display of intellegence. As for the lazy part, thats just my view on things. I feel Im lazy, others may not see that but I do.

Yes Jessica, she is a wonderful godly amazing, well you get the point individual, but alas who knows what the fates hold for me. I certainly dont.

I live in Mount Pleasant, abotu 2 hours and 20 minutes from you most likely.

Well Guys, Im glad you like my articles. My girlfriend says I need to accept that fact that Im a good writer, even if I dont like to admit it, I think I would lose my head if it wasnt for her. You know the funny thing is, Dan was the first person to ever comment on my article, and having him actually comment gave me a little more courage to put more up, for that Dan, I thank you so very much for, even if it was just little comments here and there. Even if they were sounding as though they were totally against what I was saying they still helped me out, Thanks man, I appeciate it.

Trin,
It seems you post more on my articles then I do. Thats almost odd, since I do check back to see who in fact does read my crap. For that I am also grateful for. Jessica and I were discussing it last night in fact and we decided that I should post more on here... lets hope they are good articles in the future.

To Joeuser.com and all the good writers here.

Adios.
