Happy Birthday to Me!

At 10:21, 17 years ago I was born. Of course I was created nine months earlier, but actually came into the word 17 years ago today. Hence, it is my birthday.

We were at the grocery store this morning getting cake mix, and my mom's a health nut, so I wanted jerky. I said (must have been rather loudly) "I'm gunna get some beef jerky, cuz it's my birthday" My mom thought nothing of it. I threw the jerky in the basket, as if my birthday was a good excuse to eat junk.... but anyway, this guy looked at me and genuinly said "Happy Birthday" I replied with a thanks and was on my way down the cookie aile. And I started to fucking tear up. Ha, here I am going to cry in the stupid grocery store. The fact is, I don't want to be 17. I don't want to get older. Dangit!

But you can still wish me a happy birthday anyway.

Happy Birthday!! I hope you have a great day and enjoy the jerky! I loved 17, it was a great age for me. Maybe it will grow on you. It's like you are still young enough to be a kid, but old enough to have some fun! :)
