Missed Me, Missed Me, Now You Gotta Kiss Me!

I just love the innocence of youth. I eat it up every day. Our home has a hall that overlooks our living room. My husband likes to throw his socks at our sons as they watch cartoons in the morning. If he misses, I hear "Missed me, missed me, now you gotta kiss me!" And then a lot of running, screaming and smooching sounds fill the air. I love it!
There are raucous games of "Tickle Monster", over flowing bubble baths, games of tag, and all sorts of wonderful fun things that we enjoyed as kids but sometimes lose track of until we relive them with our own kids. Reading stories at night, playing with play dough, singing silly songs, all fun stuff that I am eating up while I can. People constantly warn me of how some day they won't want to hang out with mom and dad anymore. I am too focused on what we have right now to worry about that.
Having little ones is rough when it comes to sickness, lack of sleep, lack of privacy etc, but I think the good far outweigh the bad. Sure, I whine about the bad but boy am I thankful for the good stuff! My blog is called More than just Mommy but just Mommy isn't too bad a gig
