Lint Trap. I have one do you?

Ever since i have been young I have often looked down at my navel and pondered. Why is there always lint in my navel? It doesn't matter the color of shirt for the lint in my navel varies from time to time. I do not know when, how, or WHY it is there but it seems my body comes fully equipped with a lint trap. This once life giving orifice has resulted in a natural producer of fuzz bunnies. Am I the only one?

No I do not have a hairy tummy! I am 27 and shave twice to three times a week (that's the face). You do the math.

Well, my theory WAS that it was all that stomach hair pulling the lint in, but maybe not.

I've seriously never known a female with this problem, though.

It's just so odd. I mean it's just a lil dimple but lint seems to find itself pretty easily. *checks* yep still clean from this morning

I just saw an interesting report on fox.  TW, it turns out that the scientist agrees with your theory.  So based on this study the little hair I have/had is likely the cause.  I remember getting lint there when I only had peach fuzz on my tummy.
