I always thought it spoiled half the fun to know in advance.  But congratulations to the Parents and grandparents.

My son's wife. They have the audacity to make me a GRANDMA!!

CONGRATS!!!!!!!

Congratulations!

thanks. It'll be fun for a change to see my son in the parental role. I'm really looking forward to this. I plan on having a perpetual smile on my face.

ya, that's what I thought to. But from my perspective I can now concentrate on little boy colors. The pink/white nikes are going to have to wait for the next one. I couldn't resist. I almost bought a little pink dress. Guess I'll have to rethink here.

I've already been told that I don't look old enough to be a grandma!!! My own grandmother said this today. Of course she's laughing just because it's gonna happen and she's going to be a great-great grandma!! She's tickled.

Always the practical!  There is that!  Congratulations again! I guess when I start being a grandfather, I will know in advance as well. It seems to be the norm these days.

And Amanda looks adorable with her teeny tiny little pregnancy belly.

Boys rule!

ya, they do......so says my husband.

When I was pregnant with my first he said he didn't do girls. I laughed. Then I had my second and then my third boy. I was not laughing then. I wore pink all nine months with David. He turned out to be the biggest by far and of course another boy!! So I guess I should have listened but I always wondered how many boys we might have had if we kept on going. So far no male in his immediate family has had a girl and there are 4 boys in his family. And now my son is the first grandson to get married and he's having a boy as well. I wonder if there will be a girl born here. I'm hanging onto those pink/white nikes just in case for the first one to be born a girl. It may be a while.

ya, real scientific huh? I think I did so out of desparation or wishful thinking.

ummmm I don't remember hearing of these diff ways until well after we were done with our family and then I remember saying..."Now you tell me."

I talked to my son who has studied genetics and he told me going by our family history, I may never be giving away those pink/white nikes. At least the chances are not favorable. But I'm done wearing pink.
