Summer In Florida - Another Storm

Ya have to love these tropical summers. Yesterday a wine warehouse here in town was struck by lightening and burned to the ground destroying 50,000 bottles of wine. At this moment another storm has moved in which looks to be even worse than the one yesterday. It has the usual wind, rain, thunder, and lightening, but today's addition is dime sized hail. Oh, cool.

I actually enjoy storms for the most part. It's definately cooled down the house so no complaints on that score. I just hope nothing gets destroyed today.

I love storms. My husband gets really angry with me because I want to be out in them. I like sitting on the porch and watching the water and lightening.

Sorry to hear about your wine warehouse! Bummer.

Thanks, it looks like it's blown over for the moment but there's a possibility of more yet to come today.

The news story mentioned that all of that wine lost was valued at about $700,000. I'm in the wrong business.

Nothing wrong with watching a storm. Now, playing golf in one is another story

Luckily, the tornado turned out to be several miles from here and moving away.
