Category? Hmm, let's see. Art? Art who? Automotives? Call Triple A. Blogging? Is that the same as Blogging? Business? Whose? Current Events? That sounds cool...not. Entertainment? Hey! That's me! Oh great. Now I'm going to have to be 'entertaining'. Like there ain't enough 'entertaining' people out there already. Really, think about it. Why do they keep on pushing these entertaining types on us. Is anyone complaining that they're not entertained enough? Or as my Japanese teacher used to say, " How come you man but still act like boy? That was tough to hear from her little slanted lips, but I didn't let it bother me, no sir. I knew she just wanted me to try and be a man, for her sake flowed like wine. (did you like that? it was entertaining, no?) I wonder what happened to her. Now that I'm a man, I wonder.
Topic? Duhhh (did I spell that right?) That's easy, for I am into the music business for those who don't know. Hello!!! I'm in the music business. I am a songwriter and music producer and music publisher and promoter. I do it all. It's my life. All you truckers that haven't heard one of my songs in the wee small hours of the morning don't know what you're missing. You all know that line by Patti Loveless, "till all at once it's half-past three...and it's down..to just the trucks an' me...and I'm holdin' on to nothin'...but the wheel", well I didn't write that song, but it is entertaining, don't you think? I mean you can't get much more entertaining than Patti singin' that stuff. Don't you all just love Loveless?
Well, at any rate, I don't want to get into the Dixie Chicks business at this point. Yes, they have more money than me and yes they sing better than me, they look better than me, but remember, there's three of them. I'm only poor ol' me. I do write better than they do. I used to be as bad as they are, before I became a man. (I can't even remember my Japanese teacher's name and I would have trouble picking her out from three 'Jap Chicks', if you will...but I have been thinkin' 'bout her lately, this week and tonight). I can say that my writing is better, without boasting, I hope, because I once wrote something like them when I was young and immature. Now, I am very mature, and my writing has been through many re-writes. This goes back to my college days again when my English Lit. prof, Lloyd Schwartz, instilled this idea into us all. Write..and re-write. Got it?
So, anyways, you want to be a TOP TEN MAN. Great. You've come to the right place. Come back again now. I'm just a little too upset now to be 'entertaining' right at this point in time. Sayonara, y'all. "
