It's nice that they are listening to customer input.

I have a feeling that once Vista gets broken in you will be able to get additional themes through Microsoft. They will probably sell some but others will probably be free. What will this do to Windowblinds? Dunno but I predict bad things to come for Stardock. I DO NOT wish it, I just predict it.

No matter what Microsoft comes up with, I'm sure skinners will come up with different, and probably better skins/styles. From the screenshot provided (that doesn't really show too much), it looks like the Vista Standard theme with button resizes and and a different color. Yeah, it's sleek and simple, but I think it's just average compared to some skins you all have created.

Rather than Microsoft sell skins to us, you should sell skins to Microsoft.

A default theme should be simple, yet pleasing to the eye.  I think the new light blue theme accomplishes that (though I'm not sure why they didn't just make the buttons match Aero's buttons).

This is certainly a step up from Luna!

hm... I didn't think it was THAT much of a rewamp from the old one... a blue tint, slightly different gradient, wider buttons. But not a very big improvement. Oh well, not that it matters when I'm using WindowBlinds anyway.

It doesn't bother me too greatly - though I often wonder if it wouldn't be too much trouble for Microsoft to have a selection of colour varients for their standard/basic theme. The old one wasn't going to set the world on fire but I mean... not everyone likes blue...

blue is my favorite colour though

They haven't released it yet.  How do you know they won't have different colors?  They did with XP, so I would expect the same in this case, though hopefully even more so.

Oh good - another theme for people to clone...

I was just about to post that Fuzzy Logic lol ^_^.I wouldn't mind seeing what people come up with however .

I wonder if the GUI will follow the same format as WLM... hmmm. Seeing as you can click a little paint brush, and make the window any color you want in WLM. I think that would be nice for windows as well. Perhaps even each window having its own color with the "master toggle" being the one you set from the Display Properties dialog .

I think that would be awesome, but then again, I am easily amazed when it comes to graphics

I don't care, I have a vista capable computer and have tested beta 2, aero works fine on it. I have no need for it.
