OK, I have a question about the mod b/c I am not sure whether this is how it works or whether I've screwed up the installation somehow, but when I start the game it gives me the standard scout ship, miner and one colony vessel. However, I apparently don't have the tech to build more of any of those ships b/c they don't appear on my ship build list. do I need to research something in particular or should they already be there? I know that sounds like a stupid question but I'll risk it :)

Anyway, the mod is actually awesome and very well done. I can see making it a permanent change to my DA games. Will it be available in ToTA eventually? Any plans on metaverse compatibility? Just asking cause inquiring minds want to know . . .

That would be a bug with some of races, you have to research the 1st couple of hull techs to build ships for the federation, romulans and Klingon's I think. Just run cheat mode and auto research those techs.

To all of you guys hoping for metaverse compatibility, any mod will be metaverse compatible as soon as macmatt finishes his unofficial mod-metaverse. you upload the XML that GC2 creates every time you finish a game and all of that data get uploaded to a database.

this is why it is not here.

these guys and gals do this part time they have full time Jobs and families.

As hard as it is to we need to wait on one of them to activate us.

It may help to PM one of them so they`ll know to look for your username to

activate you.

I know the waiting is the hardest part.

well it used to be in a public download area out side of there forum.. i dont see how stardocks end user policy forced that to change

and tbh.. i dont see why i should run around forums chasing people to make a account active.

And enough of the "they got other things todo" line.. geezs, everyone knows that, dont need a silly reminder of it.

maybe i overreacted .. but still.. i viste the GC site looking for a update see new stuff and a new star trek mod (well update) and i think great.. download gc again the addons and such.. go to download.. BANG.. pls wait a unknown amount of time for download... very annoying

As for how long forum activation takes that depends on when han891 checks it, so ditto.
