start menu font?

I recently updated my theme to "Fear" and it has changed my start menu so that when I highlight a folder, the folder turns bold and stays that way. I was wondering is there anyway to keep the original Microsoft settings for the start menu so it just highlights the folder and not make it bold and to keep the theme as well. Also, is it possible to change the font of the theme? My explorer has an odd font and when i right click something on my screen, it has a font that is hard to read.

Right click on your desktop, go to properties, click on the appearance tab, then click on advanced, change the All skin defined fonts to be replaced by and change it to something more readable to you (assuming you are using windowblinds).
