Standing On A Corner In Winslow, Arizona

I made it out of California this morning after spending the night at the Golden Acorn indian casino. It seems they are exempt or simply ignore California's absurdly strict anti-smoking laws as I was able to sit at the bar and enjoy a smoke with my cold beer. There are worse ways to pass an evening.

I am now parked in Winslow, AZ for the evening, that small town made famous by the Eagle's song Take It Easy. There doesn't seem to be much to do here, at least not anything around the truckstop. I suppose I'll just have to take it easy tonight. (Maybe that's where the song title came from? Taking it easy in boring Winslow?)

I managed to snap a few picks along the way so far and will try to sort them out and upload them for posting while I'm relaxing tonight. For the moment though, a hot meal is at the top of my priority list. :)

lol, too cool. When passing through there with my parents as a teen, I demanded they stop so I could stand on the corner. They didn't... oh, well, maybe someday.

Heh! I had a massive spaghetti bolognese instead, very yummy But that was an hour ago and i'm starting to feel abit hungry again, lol! Maybe its the cold that does it?

The Casinos are on Indian land which are not subject to state laws, only federal ones.

We stopped at the other Casino (cant remember the name, but is close to the Acorn) for lunch and shopping at the outlet center (that was the girls idea, not my BIL or mine!).
