First day of Summer and my Sunshine is Missing...

My sunshine, my Digitthemost...he's gone for two weeks. :( So, here I am on the first bright, hot day of summer feeling like gray clouds are hanging over my head...yeah, yeah, how schmaltzy...but hell, I miss him.

Hope he enjoys the time with his family, though...sly guy, he made it a surprise visit, so they are going to be ecstatic! They haven't seen
each other in over a year.

So, my summer may not be off to a great start, but his is, and I'm happy for him. :)

Thanks trudy. He's called already and is so happy that he saw his nieces and nephews. I couldn't help but feel excited right along with him.

I know this is nothing compared to what you will be dealing with when your hubby deploys, but it is an empty feeling nonetheless.

Ok.  Hopefully the next kidnapped soldier will be by Guido under my instructions with a happy ending. (or Sailor as the case in this case).
