Memorial to Kurt Kobaine

A tragic waste

Yesterday was the 10th anniversary of lead singer Kurt Kobaine's death from the band Nirvana. He committed suicide with a shotgun to the head, taking the fans down with him. It just shows how heroine slowly kills you off until you just kill yourself, which is a very tragic end for anyone, but for someone like Kurt, a marvelous waste of skill and ideas. When rock needed a revolution, Kobaine was there with all the counter culture he could muster. I ask everyone to learn from his mistakes, listen to his music to see what it is like, and to pray for his soul.

TARSIER!!!!!! (generally useless ideas from a loser) .............. A memorial to Kobaine??? It would be more fitting to make a memorial to Larry Flynt. Kobaine will burn for all his evil deeds. He had no morals at all. be was a druggie, a homo, a whore monger, a drunkard, a liar, a cheat, and just about everything else. Even he, himself, knew what a worthless piece of crap he was--thats why he blew off his own head--probably the best thing he ever did for his sick fans.

I WOULD NOT BE AT ALL SURPRISED IF KOBAINE'S WIFE REALLY WAS THE ONE THAT SHOT HIM. SHE HAD A MOTIVE. SHE GOT AT LEAST 30 MILLION DOLLARS UPON HIS DEATH. SHE CERTAINLY IS EVIL ENOUGH TO HAVE DONE IT. IT SEEMS WOMEN CAN GET BY WITH ALMOST ANYTHING THESE DAYS.

Why is everyone picking on you? I happen to be completely in love with Kurt. You're right, the fact that he took his own life was such a tragedy. He was brilliant, he was different, he was revolutionary. (not to mention one beautiful man)

I think sometimes that when a person is unique, has such a beautiful mind, the world gets to them. No one understands them and you just feel like NO ONE GETS IT! He saw the world differently than most, and for that, I thank him. He paved the way for other poor souls to create. Poor Kurt, may he rest in peace.

I will miss both Kurt Kobaine, and Kurt Cobain.

The lesser known Kurt Kobaine supported himself and his family of six working as a gardener in Northern Saskatchewan. During the cold fall and winter months on the prairie, Mr. Kobaine would support his family by delivering firewood to homes in his area via horse-drawn sled.

Unfortunately ten years ago to this day, Mr. Kurt Kobaine: gardener, wood-hauler, and family man, was mauled by a grizzly bear. His remains were then trampled upon by a rogue moose and a herd of reindeer.

Ironically Kurt Kobaine and the more-famous person with who he shares the pronunciation of names both died on this day ten years ago. We'll miss both Kurts.

Shortly before he died~Kurt sang a very touching song about Jesus on the Unplugged thing he did. The song is included in the Unplugged CD that anybody can buy. He basically knew that most religious people had already condemned him~even before his suicide. But you also sense a great sadness from him too. I think he believed in God~but in his own highly personal way. And I also think that Jesus did/does love Kurt: It was religion that Kurt disliked. It was never God or Jesus. And that's what really comes through in the Jesus song he sings so beautifully. I listened to it last night. Also, I had a flickering candle in my window for Kurt. While certain misguided people damn his soul to hell for all eternity~Kurt is with his God now. And I am hoping the first person to welcome him into Heaven might have been Jesus himself. Because God was listening all these years to Kurt's beautiful songs~especially the one about Jesus. Now who could resist such a beautiful offering?

Marvin you're a fucking asshole. I was trying to like and respect you before, but you just blew all chances of that happening with what you said here.

Tarsier, see my 'farewell to Kurt' blog...

Mad, I know the song you're talking about. It's called 'Jesus doesn't want me for a sunbeam' and was originally by The Vaselines.

Marvin, what you have said is definitely not the "good Christian" thing to say.

I never hoped for this much support. I thought I was one of the only Nirvana fans here.

Nope, I was into them when 'Bleach' first came out....and have had a love affair with them ever since. I cried when Kurt died......but that's all in my blog.

Anyway, I read some of Kurt's journals the other day......if you haven't read them yet, you should give them a look. They're very insightful.

Francis Bean is her name - Marvin you are a closed minded loser, Kurt was tormented and I can identify just as most of his fans could. I have been a fan since i was in high school back in my dr.martin days and his music spoke to me. I just wish he had survived.
