you didn't rape me,
but you raped my heart
-my soul-
And everything about me

you didn't take my innocence
but my smile
you took my sunshine
And my umbrella

When it rains, it pours
I'm wet through the bones
you didn't rape my body
But I still said no

you didn't rape my body
you raped my mind
-my lips-
my eyes, my hands,
my song, my voice,
my arms, my legs,
my thighs, my feet,
my soul

You didn't take my body
but you took everything else

You addressed me with a smirk

You brought back all those old feelings

Made me want to scream for help
But I only fell in the dew

You
You followed me with a smile
You
You watched me on my knees

Made me crawl on the rocks
But my scars are just internal

You
You wanted more than I had
You
You took it all and more

Made my tears fall like water
But nobody believed me.

Anne~Wow! Powerful words. I think the imagery is amazing. Sorry to hear it's a true story. And I am glad to hear that blogging does help you. I sure know how that goes.
