Do they have any chance on Ronney's absence ?
On the paper they look one of the strongest team, With Gerard, Ashley Cole, David Beckham, Rio Ferdinand,
Sol Campbell, Wayne Rooney , Michael Owen and much more, but do they have the fire power to beat strongest of teams Like Brazil, Germany, France, Italy & Argentina especially if Rooney cannot play critical matches. The performance against Paraguay was way below par, however their big victory against Jamaica was an encouraging sign before the start of the tournament.
Its time now for Sven to make another Rooney in Theo Walcott. Theo is young got the fire power all he needs is match practice & encouraging pat at the back. Rooney was said to England counter for Ronaldinhio, but his unfortunate injury has led to too much talk among the English media rather than finding a solution.
Its good to see Rooney back to full fitness, hope so he takes part in the match 2, in my view Owen should be rested in the 1st half & Walcott should be given a direct entry so that he could be tried, tested and more over improved.
