This sounds great. It might make us mere humans to powerful compared to the A.I. but I'm sure we could learn to live with that.
Maybe meake it another difficulty option ?
I would like it if the game kept the stars (and maybe the other resources as well) that I have already discovered visible on the main map. I mean that the fog of war should not prevent me from seeing that the 20 planet I discovered an hour ago is . . er . . . um . . . where was that planet again.
It can be pretty complicated but would go something like this.
As I explore the stars and their associated planets then that "memory" of the known universe should be what is displayed on the main screen.
Changes (as in a new planet owner, or already claimed resource for example) would only appear once I have a sensor in range again.
That way I could easily find the planet and dispatch my colony ship there, only to find out when I get within sensor range that it is now colonised by the dreaded Drengin.
It would necessitate the program keeping track of the world the way it is, and the world as I last remember it.
Of course I could just keep track of everything with a pencil and paper :notsure: and you could leave it the way it is now.
Maybe for Ver 3.09 ?
