Changing Desktop Color in Existing Skin

Hi

I'm using the 5imple Alpha skin, but for some reason I don't see how I can change the standard desktop color from blue to black. If I change it through the Desktop Settings, it gets over written when I reboot. So can anyone help me know how to change the desktop color on a permanant basis in the skin itself.

Get SkinStudio if you don't have it. It's a free download from Stardock.

Open 5imple Alpha in SkinStudio. Go to the "Classic Colors" Section & change the desktop color there to whatever you desire. Save the skin, then reload it or reboot. That "should" stick.

Cool, Thanks. Should I be worried about all the vaidation errors when I save the skin !!!

Nope. Unless the skin doesn't work then just leave it alone.
