A month in pictures....

What I've been up to

So, if it seems like I fell off the face of the Earth for awhile, it's mainly because the last month has been crazy-busy for me.  So, instead of going into a long story about everything I did, I figured I'd just post random pictures with brief descriptions.

In April, I went to the RetailVision Show

Which is only a few blocks from the Alamo

Armadillos are funny

I got hit on by Eddie Money

I went on vacation with my husband

We took a cruise and saw a Dolphin

And a Pelican in the water

Got some flowers from those who matter

10th Anniversary new bling

even got some custom toe rings

I was simply walking and tore tendons in my ankle

It's not as bad as my dog with staples

My daughter went to a math and science show

and I got a company car- so cool!

So, that about sums it up.

Thanks for sharing the pictures! Poor puppy, that does look sore. I see what you mean about her looking so sad; I bet she's milking it for all the attention she can Oh my goodness and I hadn't seen your ankle before! That can't feel good. What is your daughter holding in that picture, some sort of lizard? She's brave, I wouldn't hold a frog at that age (or even now for that matter).

Hope it was grand.  What was wrong with the Puppy?

Yeah, it is a skink.  It was amazingly calm.

What was wrong with the Puppy?

She had a shunt that was directing blood flow away from her liver.  It was a birth defect that just took 2 years to show signs of.  A complicated $5,000 surgery seems to be doing the trick.  She's starting to really perk up, and I think she'll be a lot happier after she gets her staples out on Monday.

well karma according to the old rule of thumb about pictures, you just wrote a wonderful summation of 15, 000 words.

Ouch for doggie, ouch for ankle, yay for new bling, yay for good looking hubby.

Ditto all of the above!

Nice writing! Your daughter is pretty brave holding that thing!
