DXThemes/Suites

Having a problem with applying DXThemes and some Suites. After d'loading a skin I click apply in the Theme Manager,it appears to load then suddenly stops without completing the application--anything I could be doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

does it load some of it?
do you have DesktopX the program installed? (for the DXThemes)
do you have the other programs installed - to use the parts of suites that don't get applied?

Sir Bichur- Thanks for replying.No nothing is loaded and yes,I have DesktopX installed.I was wondering whether to uninstall it then reinstall to see if that will help.I have just tried to load "Goldenchild" DXTheme, via the Theme Manager,after I click "apply" Theme Manager window just disappears!!!!As far as I am aware I have all relevant programmes installed,oh just a thought, when trying to install "Bootskin" it would not install,kept telling me that the file was too small,not all of it was available to install!! would that make a difference to the above? Thanks again for your time,and patience.

This 'Golden Child' Link?

I'm not even sure if all the parts will work...there have been a lot of changes in the various programs since 10/23/2001. I clicked it just to see and Firefox said it would open with Theme Manager, but I noticed it's a .skin not a .suite. It also includes an o-l-d version of WB which used webblinds (hard to get - but I like my rocking throbber). I can't finish the dl now, since I have other stuff downloading and I'm on dialup.

try something a little newer, say no more than a year old and see if it works.
