I need Help Brad: How Do I get to became a Alpha Tester?

I have been in a lot of betas, well some, but I want to get into more of them.

I beta Tested for Ragnarok, and even Alpha tested, Beta tested for THe Frozen Throne, and tried for WOW, but didn't make it. How did you get into the Alpha? Do you have programming knowledge that ensures your acceptance? Personal Relationships? Business Relationships? If I need some programming knowledge, which Language and how do I start lol? I really want to be a tester, and I am a devoted gamer. I also like to critique things. If it is none of these, could you please get me hooked up with a test? Thank you for reading.

I work at Stardock and was teh designer of Galactic Civilizations. In the game industry I"m friends with lots of people so I tended to get invited to be in lots of betas and alphas.

Any Chance You can hook me up? How was being a game designer? What qualifications did you need? If I wanted to be one, any particular classes I should take? I am not saying I want to be one, just curious.
