DO I COME ACROSS AS A KNOW-IT-ALL?

Looking at some of the comments people have left me, it appears that I may be coming across as a know-it-all. Well, I agree that all to often, I am like that. In being this way, it is not my intention to hurt anyone or make anyone mad.

In the real world, I have had to overcome some temperament problems. As a teenager, I got into more trouble than the average kid. It’s a good thing I joined the Navy--they did not allow any undisciplined behavior there.

What we must all remember is that these are just blogs. Blogs are a place to give our opinions on things. Sometimes what any of us write may not be totally accurate or it might just be a vague view on any given subject. Writing a blog may also be a place to blow off steam about something that irritates us. Anyhow, blogs should not be taken all that seriously.

I think that honestly you voice a lot more than other people might, even if they believed the same. The risk of being wrong, the risk of "breaking a few eggs" is enough for some people to silently hold their beliefs. I disagree with you probably more than I agree with you, but I can't devalue your honestly or courage to post things that you know will get you lynched. Be able to cite anything statistical, pose opinions as opinions, and I think you'll be fine... though often bruised, lol.

My only problem with you is your lack of any backing for your questionable statistics. I have no problems with your opinions even though I disagree with all of them, because that is your right and I respect it.

GCJ: Again, much like the idiotic 'n' word debate, I hear gay people use the term fag and faggot all the time. If a gay guy calls another gay guy a bitch, it is cute. If i do, i am insensitive. I don't understand why people can call themselves one thing, and then call it an insult when someone else says it.

I've seen some very interesting posts in this blog. The only aggravating thing is that you type all your titles in all-capital-letters. Gets old real fast.

I'm with Trent. It's the caps that bother me and make you look like a know it all. Everything else is fine though.
