Have you ever dated a body builder?

I'm sorry Jeremy but I kinda noticed some of those "negative" tendencies too. The difference though is that that's a cool way to be to me so just keep rockin on man.

Ewwww... bodybuilders *shudder*. I used to work in a store that had many bodybuilder clients and let me tell you I wouldn't go near one if you paid me. I've found them to be repulsive, stupid and their large bodies tend to be making up for other, not so large, features. Please tell me, Faery, that you haven't dated one. They're not worth the price of the oil they spread on their disgusting muscles (as shine). And JeremyG, if you're implying that you're a bodybuilder I feel very, very sorry for you.

The point of my article was to point out the ridiculousness of your justification for hating a group of people. I used Jeremys, you further proved my point by using body builders or business men. You can't say you hate all body builders if you've only met a few body builder. You can't say you hate all Jews if you've only met a few Jews.

Urban, you should have titled it "I don't like Jeremys" since he said in his article that he doesn't judge people prior to meeting them and you have never met JeremyG specifically right?

Like Dharma pointed out my point from JeremyG's blog, not liking is different than Hating. People should be careful throwing the "H" word around. If Jeremy had a lot of bad experiences with body builders, Jews, etc, it does cause a process in his brain to give an impulsive response. He admits to it. He never said he "hates all Jews" or Pakistanis. He made a generalization about groups in his realm of experience. Does anyone ever cry "prejudice" when someone proclaims "I love Jews, tall guys, guitarists, etc" ? It is prejudging right?

Urban, I get your point. I think JeremyG did too. He was just pointing out that a lot of people have similar feelings toward groups that they aren't even aware of (i.e. body builders). BTW, I don't like body builders in general but happen to have a friend that is a championship body builder. He is also one of the most intelligent guys I've met. Graduated top of the class in EE. I was able to judge him on his own personal merits but still can say I don't like body builders in general.

Kupe, I hope that was sarcasm I only know Ron from The Sureal Life. He reminds me a bit of a very perverted Danny Devito so I could definitely see him as a stand up comedian.

I don't think anyone can throw Ron Jeremy into a "stereotype." The only one I can think of would be "failed musician," due to his terrible rap song that he released.

You know it really isn't very nice to go around saying mean things about people. Why would you say you don't like somebody?
