Incomprehensible replies

In the past week or so (since JU came back online), I have started getting incomprehensible replies.  No, not just so weird and out there that you can't follow them.  These are truly incomprehensible.  They are gibberish posts by anonymous users.  I cannot fathom the point of them, as they aren't even links for VIAGRA or CIALIS or VICODIN!!

Is anyone else getting these?  Here is a prime example.  I guess I could be grateful they bump my articles back into view on the forums, eh?

I've seen these,  however haven't gotten any of them.

It's as if someone...is bumping their favorite bloggers!  I wonder if it's "Manya",  these "posts"

are happening at the same time she/he posts.

I think I have seen a couple of others that got them.  Sounds like a bot that is trying to harvest information at JU.

I have gotten these too but didn't really worry about it. I suppose we could start marking our blogs where only registered users can comment and that would get rid of them.

The conspiracy theorist in me thinks they could be coded messages - I read a security report a few years back that said some groups were turning to encrypted messages on anonymous sites to spread information without detection. But it seems more likely it's just a bot or someone with too much time on their hands.

Seriousl weird stuff.  Glad I am not the only one seeing them.  Now I just wonder what they are harvesting from me.  Hopefully not my organs.
