Planet special features

Is it possible to somehow assign guaranteed special features to certain planets, like precursor mines, either on random maps or custom scenarios?

Theres a deathstar mod on the library page, Your question makes me think of that mod and I would say yes however i think you would need to look at it to understant it better. I am in no way a coder and for the most part i dont understand how to mod this YET however I think what your asking you might get some insight looking at how he did his mod.

Yeah, determining the precusor mines can be done, but it illegal under EULA, I think it invovles modifying the .exe, so only Frogboy knows how .
