Album: Space Jam soundtrack
Year: 1996
Jay Ski encourages the crowd to get pumped in the exasperating “Space Jam.â€
Cheering from a large audience is in the background as Hook Girl tells people to get involved. The club, Space Jam, is on fire in the first chorus.
In the first bridge, a thumping bass accompanies Jay Ski as he invites people to move roughly on the dance floor.
The women in the crowd start chanting “uh-huh†with a piercing bass. Jay Ski says it’s time for the party to begin. He takes a hit from a joint and then shows off his muscles. He tells people to enjoy the bass and be as creative as possible. He yells to the DJ to make their music louder and tells the people sitting on the chairs to join the party.
The first chorus is sung again.
In the second chorus, Hook Girl resorts to a cliché. She asks everyone to do the standard arm motion if they are having fun. She adds that the Quad City DJ’s are going to close the club down.
In the second bridge, Jay Ski references his first hit song “Whoot! There It Is!â€
The first bridge is sung twice.
In the second verse, he hits on a girl using basketball metaphors. After staring at each other, he wants her to make the first move. He says they are a couple. However, he’s one calling the shots. He says they have to dance and then go back to his apartment. There, she will have sex with him and he will determine the position.
The first and second choruses are sung again.
In the third bridge, he asks the women if they want to go home. They yell back they don’t. He responds that it’s a fun party. He does the same with the men.

Jay Ski fills the last minute by saying “na, na, na, na†and “yeah, yeah†and has the crowd do the same.
In the single, Jay-Ski plagiarizes himself. The song itself is a blatant rewrite of “Whoot! There It Is!†from almost the start. It’s a lazy and downright laughable attempt to get out of writing a new single.
“Space Jam†is an unoriginal, ordinary party song.
