Buying the game online from EBgames, or Gamestop? or just waiting for retail?

Buying from Stardock.

I doubt there'll be any difference between ordering from EBGames and Gamestop. Depending on where you are, it may already be at a retail outlet near you. Personally, I'd check with my retail stores. If they are going to carry the game at all, they should have it by the time you'd get an order shipped anyway (unless you want to spring for overnight, in which case I'd just download from SD).

I couldn't bother to wait. I bought from Stardock and I'll let 'em handle whether or not my box gets here fast or slow. Doesn't matter 'cause I'm playing it.

Best Buy was the first to have it in my area. That was the day after it was supposed to ship. They only had 3 copies, but they held one for me until I got there.

I did what DuneTiger did. Last Wed. bought it from Stardock, downloaded the game that night and played until 2am. My Collectors Edition box showed up in the mail on Mon, along with the super cool tech tree.

If you're going to buy it online, you might as well buy it straight from Stardock, and give them all of your money.
