I wasn't sure what forum to put this on, but I wanted to relay that I had an issue verifying my copy of GalCiv2 today. About 2 hours and 3 very quick turnaround emails (they were faster at replying than I was) I was up and running a beautifully done strategy game.

Kudos, guys, for going the extra mile for your customer.

Other forum members: keep this bumped if you have similiar experiences and want others to see the care they have for us. If a person wonders on to this forum an reads good things, maybe we can get a few extra sells their way. They deserve it.

I had a graphics issue yesterday at release time, and thanks to a helpful dev in chat a workaround was found rather quickly.

I'll second that in a flash. Stardock rulez! I will try and summarize the experience in one word. Unparallelled. (If I can spell it right, hee hee ) They are on top of things if you did have an issue, they are so transparent on the forums it is just wow. It's unlike any other forum. You may not always get a reply in the forums on some comments, but you can bet they are read. On release day these folks were available in IRC to help. Another big wow.

Well, with all the chaos that seems to have ensued with demand outstripping supply I'm impressed that i got 2 friendly emails from Kim in sales explaining how to go about upgrading my TGN digital version to the RL collectors edition.
