Show and Tell: Revisited

A long while back Dharma had a really fun article entitled "Show and Tell" in which many of us posted photos of ourselves or our families. Something personal and fun. It was a great thread that allowed a lot of us to place a face to the nick name and the writing voice. Well, it has been a while and there are lots of new, pretty regular folks who blog here so I thought it might be fun to start up a similar thread. I will give it a go, with one of my current favorite pictures:

Me and my boy.

So, let's show and tell!

*If you need help posting a photo, just drop a line and I or someone else will be happy to help!

No problem mate. Just use an image host. I use Imageshack. Just head over to imageshack.us and you can upload a photo. Then it will give you the code to insert. It will be something along the lines of "".

Just copy that and paste it in the reply and you should have your image. Or you can use the Image button above and put in the URL for the photo (http://blahblahblah). Hope that helps.

Incidentally, it is a great photo of you and Lil' Dev.

Brad has all of my pictures along with my soul in a little jar I will try to get him to post some pics. I am also hoping to get him to scan in my ultrasound pics so I can blog about that too.

BlueDev, your little guy is adorable! Is that red hair I see on the two of you? We have a lot of Irish and Scottish on both sides of the family so red hair is always a possibility and blue eyes and freckles are par for the course.

Here is my most recent favorite pic of my dog. He is a camera hog. When he sees the camera he will do whatever he can to get in frame.

Mostly on me. I think it is a trick of the light, because our sons hair is very, very blond. Though I do think there are hints of red when the light hits it the right way.

John: Love the dog pic!

Just John, I love your dog! What's his name? He looks like he is in midsentence in the picture.

Taken just before Christmas.

I love the dog too, John... we just said goodbye to our beloved Weimeraner last month. He was precious. Your dog looks like he has so much personality!

Great idea for a thread, BlueDev!

Aaaah... one of the many reasons I love ya, Tex. You're so good for my ego! LOL. Seriously... thanks. That was sweet. Had my first WW weigh in on Monday. Lost 2.8, so off to a good start, I guess. The road ahead just looks so lonnnnnnnnng. LOL

Awwww, you're making me blush. But thank you for the lovely compliment. Personally, I think it was the photo was taken from a really flattering angle.

Nicky: nice to finally put a face to the name. Looks like you were at a picnic when this was taken. Looks like a lovely spot too.

Their mother claims that was my only worthwhile contribution. Apparently she places those qualities far above the other trait she claims I gave them....a smart mouth.

For some reason I can't see Suspekt's picture. Does anyone have any clues as to why?

His name is Indiana Bones (Indy). It's funny you say that he looks like he is midsentence. He was 'talking' at the time of the picture. He likes to bark but he prefers to howl like he is trying to form words. My wife doesn't believe he is talking but I can tell exactly what he wants by what he 'says'.

HC: Sorry to hear about your dog. Indy has a wonderful personality. Now all I have to do is convince my wife's poodle of that.

HC: Beatiful picture of the family. I hear rumors I may be moving to your neck of the woods?

Ted: The pic rules man!

davad: Loved the all! Thanks for sharing.

InBloom: hope you can get that to work so everyone can see you!

Great photos people! Love them.
