1. Multiples of ship gear are not treated as multiples. Have two cargo holds? Only sell them back for the price of one. Have two Not So Cuddle Drives? Can't give one away to Starbase Command for the colony mission while the other is installed on your ship. Hmm. Actually, I don't think I was able to give one away (when I had two) even when I had the Overmind Drive installed.
2a. A quest fails to correctly update on the Objectives. Cure yourselves of the Pinthi infection does not list materials needed. Quest turns green when complete, but does not say the word complete.
2b. Niche side quests fail to register on the Objectives page. For example, the Measured request for their own historical data does not appear. Nor the Mu'Kay request for a dead alien appear in Objectives or Captain's Log.
3. Captains Log routinely fails to update when performing the quest-ending action. Placing beacon back onto Mehen, giving basher to Tywom, spraying Pinthi onto Origin, visiting the places the Precursor starbases mentioned, etc. They all display complete in Objectives, but there is no LOG of the ending actions.
4. The ship component Cargo Hold graphic is missing.
5. When scanning a planet, hazards will always show greater than your protection. Have protection of 75%? A planet with a hazard of 50% will show four bars covered and the last uncovered.
6. Autosaves occasionally crash the game when you attempt to load from them. No, I don't have a save I can give you. Sorry.
7. Consider fixing scrolling issue when purchasing multiple ships of the same type. Every time you open the ship purchase window, the window scrolling tries to display the previous position, but always displays slightly higher up than where it was when the window was closed.
8. While game is in full screen mode, tabbing out of it to another program and then tabbing back into it causes desync between mouse and display. I haven't tried other resolutions, but this happens for me when my resolution is 1600x900.
9. Sector Map is supposed to appear when pressing 'T'. It does not.
And then there are the maybe-not-technically-bugs:
1. Objectives does not have clickable star names.
2. Clicking on a star name in the Captain's Log will only give you the choice to auto-travel to that star. You have to pause auto-travel and go to the map so you can then click on the star and mark it (give it a colored bullseye) for later.
3. Planets with structures stay marked as a ! on the solar system map after being visited. Consider changing visited structures to display symbol *. Or maybe start out with an ? for unexplored and a ! for explored.
4. Visiting a new Precursor starbase will not tell you what has been unlocked, just that new components are available. You have to manually select EVERY SINGLE STINKING UPGRADE POINT TYPE to see what (if anything) is available. Super annoying.
5. AI-combat will not allow you to pick the ship you want to fight with.
6a. Playing the purchased audio logs of alien races auto-quits unless you stay on the same page. Those things are very long! They're fun to listen to at least once, but I want to keep my ship flying around while I listen to my alien audiobook.
6b. Alien audiobooks do not have closed captioning. It's very difficult to understand the Scryve sometimes...
7. The tab key does not bring me to my starmap first. At least 80% of what I do in that window is using the starmap. Consider listing them by how often they're used: Sector Map, Objectives, Captain's Log, Manifest, Fleet Status, Codex.
8. Dialog trees that have been exhausted do not gray out.
9a. Consider organizing and consolidating ships available for purchase in Fleet Management. If I have four Lexite ships available for zero RU (because I purchased them earlier and then had to remove them to make room for something else), list them as a single item instead of 5 items (four zero-cost ships and one full cost ship).
9b. Also consider organizing ships by species.
10. Ships available for purchase on Fleet Management all show Range as 1 bar. Unknown what range actually means. Maybe not a bug? Seems odd. If everything has the same value, what's the point of displaying the value?
