Bug: Gamepad not supported?

Hi all,

I'm using a Logitech controller which I used for other Steam games, but it doesn't seem to be working in Star Control: Origins.

I believe the game supports Gamepads as per the controls menu but I can't seem to get it to work.

That's odd.  What are you seeing?

 

I'm using a logitech F710 just fine.  Re-mapped the menu controls to use dpad instead of stick because that just makes way more sense.

I'm using a Logitech Gamepad F310.  It's in Xinput mode and Windows recognises it fine in the Control Panel (detects all buttons and movements).

 

But when I go into SC:O it doesn't detect it at all.  Even when I go to the control mapping options page and it asks me to select a button on the controller to map to, it doesn't detect anything.

I am having the exact same problem.  Controller works fine with everything but SC/O.  Mapping seems like it wants to work, but doesn't recognize gamepad.
