So I love the old star control and when I found this immediately got it. I started out trying to build a ship but the ship designer is pretty sparse as far as tool tips, names, a directional indicator for which direction the builder or the program can stick to. Is any information available somewhere that can supplement my distress during this period of change and prioritizations?
Thanks

This is a good question. Right now, there are a couple of additional elements we really need to add to the designer and then we'll add a wiki.
There's also some features we really need to add to make designing the ship easier. Stay tuned!
In my first moments of Starcraft origins I have had a similar experience to the OP. Agree with suggestions made.I crafted a custom VUX cruiser and went into battle to test it and found the front facing surface was the right wing. I assumed the first part I chose in ship design would snap into the "Y axis". Had some fun battles but very hard to aim the laser weapon. In ship creation is there a default X, Y, Z axis on the crafting screen as you load in? Any suggestion to help orient the ship in the early stages of crafting would be welcome. Cheers!
