Oldschool Arcade Vibes

Hey players of Star Control and Stardock devs!

Just gave SC Origins a quick test.

I sense some oldschool arcade vibes here? Where have I stepped into? This is a strong connection. Must have been the liquirice, or maybe the ice tea? Impossible!

 

I was only disappointed that I gained some unneccessary fears of yet another mediocre remake of a very nostalogic game, such as Master of Orion. Restrictions of the 90s hardware in Star Control universe have been loosened? Do we even want the old familiar races when we have the hunams?

Nah... Stardock actually knows that they are making Star Control.  When they do modern re-makes of Master of Orion they don't have any idea what game they are supposed to be trying to make, so naturally they are disasters;-)
