I have played the older games of Star Control (1&2). I have also had a dialogue with the Paul Reichie and Fred Ford a long time ago about the game. 

Being able to choose speed would be a good idea to accommodate different users. 

I also find that the ships are way too tiny and makes it difficult for combat and sometimes to follow where they are.  It would also be more easier to fly the ships via mouse rather than keyboard control. 

Gamma setting or brighter setting should be included in options to; as to be able to see the ships more effectively. 

Also will there be a possibility that this game can be set for VR as well in the foreseeable future?

When will the release of the full story be out?

So far I am impressed with the overhaul just not happy with the speed.
