Hey All,
I just purchased and installed the newest version of Fences (2.13).
I quite like everything, except for one thing that really nags me. Fences adds an icon move/snap-in animation when you move an icon on the Desktop from one place to another, replacing the standard instant snap-to Windows behaviour. This really bugs me and I don't find it aesthetic. I can't for the life of me find a way to disable the animation. I looked through and toggled all settings I could find and nothing does the trick.
Is there a setting to control this or is it a deal with it or F off thing?
A few more details that may be useful:
Using Win 7 with "Align icons to grid" enabled for the Desktop, so icons always snap to their designated grid location when you let go of the mouse button. In standard Windows this is an instantaneous snap, and enabling Fences makes them sort of slide into place from where you drop them. I assume this is merely for aesthetic reasons and I see no practical use for it, and definitely don't like it.
I also looked through the forum to see if there were any answers. Even though I found some related posts, nothing that actually answered my question.
Any ideas?
Thanks!!
