Hopefully they don't release it too soon like they did with Knights of the Old Republic II and New Vegas.

Paradox and Obsidian have already provided 1000s of hours of entertainment in my life, cool to see them team up.  A little worried about bugs, neither has a good reputation in that department.

Yeah, Paradox has some good people for sure.

CK2 and EU4 were pretty good in terms of release quality, unlike earlier Paradox games.

 Edit: From what I've been able to tell by reading the Paradox forums over the past few years, it interestingly traces back to Magicka.  That game (which Paradox distributed) was a sleeper hit for them, generating far more revenue than anticipated.  That bought them some financial wiggle room to only release CK2 once it was very polished.  CK2 then got a great reception and sold extremely well, which let them do the same thing with EU4.  EU4 is now phenomenally successful, so the cascade of good things should continue (*knock on wood*)!

I played it for the first time last night. I was only going to have a quick look, a hour later, this is looking amazing. I am glad Easter is coming up and I haven't go anything major planned for a couple of the 4 days break so hopefully I can convince my wife to take the girls and bugger off for a few hours

I am not usually that excited when RPGs have lots of text to read but this is so well done that I found myself getting very much into the storyline.

The character creation, another part I usually only pay some attention to, so so well done that I ended up doing it twice just so I could try a few different options.

Seriously worth checking out. Especially if you love games like Baldur's gate etc
