I had never heard of Elemental before I saw an ad for Fallen Enchantress on Steam. I had played Sins of a Solar Empire, and while it was impressive in depth and scale, it didn't really appeal to me in a personal way.
I hate to admit it here now, especially when it may yet have consequences, but I pirated the release version of Fallen Enchantress in order to try it, and even though that version was unstable and inefficient in performance, I was amazed at the level of depth, replay value and sheer entertainment. I have, as I hope records will indicate, legally purchased the game since then (I literally bought it no more than week after trying it, the moment I could afford to) and I play it almost every day. I am most certainly going to be buying Legendary Heroes and while I don't see how a game of this type could be made multiplayer, I'm confident that if anyone could do it, it would be the people behind this game.
I like to think I have somewhat discriminating standards for games, and Fallen Enchantress is on par with Dragon Age: Origins and some of the earlier Command & Conquer games in terms of real effort on the part of the designers. While I know that one customer doesn't mean much to the corporate overlords, I want to say that if you keep making things the way you've made them, I'll be on board for as long as I own a computer.
tl;dr: Shut up and take my gildar
