Well, i have speak about it in the previous page, reply 14...
There's a yellow exclamation point next to it.
In your case, it is maybe the cause of your problem... but a yellow exclamation point don't always mean a problem... for example, in my case, i have 2 ! :
- PS/2 Compatible Mouse -> ACPI\PNP0F13\5&6B1A51C&0 -> This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed.
Well, i have a PS/2 port ( round connector ) but i use a USB mouse... not really a problem...
- RAID Controller -> PCI\VEN_9005&DEV_041F&SUBSYS_818015D9&REV_09\5&79943F7&0&100318 -> The drivers for this device are not installed.
In this case, i have a hardware raid who is configured in the bios... if i use the windows driver, it mess up everything and ignore all my ext3 partition, same if the ext3 driver for windows is installed...
What is really slow is that you need so much time for solve your problem... remote diagnostic via a forum is not the more easy and faster way...
Take a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Team_viewer ... it is a very usefull little software... use it for diagnostic and repair computer that i have installed without the need to visit my customer... a lot of my customer don't make any upgrade too, one conection by month and i install remotly all the update ( windows, java, flash, etc )... the tool allow somebody to take control of your computer and make the job for you... beware, to use only with somebody that you trust completely, like yrag by example...
A short video who show how to use it for remote support :
