also, I think it would be fairly short-sighted to regard something like religion as entirely bad. it has accompanied us for a long, long time and given us many excellent pieces of art and culture and given many people a sense of life, fulfillment. besides, rationality can only go as far as the data you have, at some point it just IS speculation. religion only becomes a problem when someone somewhere thinks he is right and everyone else should think the same way.

but I think we are getting off the point. nice to see there are in fact a few lady sinners out there and if in my few online games I happen to play one, well, fine. I think there is even a kernel inside of me that would be a bit ashamed to lose to a girl, but then hey, skill is skill.

I agree. However, as long as people want to believe that the outcome of their life is not reliant on the choices they themselves make along with having a nice easy book to govern those moral decisions -- then I think there will always be bible-thumpers. =/

Setting things straight right now. Your insults towards me are totally unwarranted, especially when you imply they have any sort of truth behind them. If you want to know the truth, I found these forums simply because I was thanked by the Ironclad community whom had posted comments on my site. A site that is my business, and one I work very hard on every_single_day. To be truthful, I feel it is rather poor and unimportant..but thank you for feeling that it proclaims my self-importance. I'm sorry you think it's an "attention seeking" website when I've not once posted a link to it in any thread on here. My writings are something I'm passionate about and have no need to explain that drive to you.

I don't have a problem with Nixie's including links to her site in her sig.  I'd do the same thing if I had a site I was trying to get people to visit.  Not a big deal.

You're either being deliberately obtuse, or are a lot less intelligent than you think you are.

Your comment several posts above was a not-so-thinly veiled insult, which you quite clearly meant as criticism based on the message above.  You really should learn to read what you write, or better yet have someone else interpret it and let you know what it means before you post it, or these little "misunderstandings" are sure to happen again.

As an example, I could say that an intellectual midget who lacks the capacity to understand whether a statement is opinion or being presented as a professional, objective review without having it spelled out for her like a three year old wouldn't comprehend an answer even if given, or that a petty little girl who has such a lack of self-confidence that she is threatened by another woman's success to the point where she invents completely fabricated scenarios to make herself feel more important doesn't deserve a response.  Or perhaps I could say that miss born-to-privilege was so upset at someone making an innocuous comment about her favorite widdle game that she threw a temper tantrum and made a fool out of herself in a forum where people are generally civil and don't stoop to being as low as she.

However, since I'm writing in hypotheticals and I don't mean anyone in particular, I guess we can all just move along and forget about things.

Oh, by the way, since you apparently can't fathom the difference, let me help you:  You weren't criticizing her website, you were criticizing -her-, and she did nothing more than say that a game was "silly."  Which was, quite obviously, not being "passed off" as anything but friendly banter on a message board.  It was your own lack of self-esteem that had you looking for "forum whores" and "drama queens" (pro tip - you're projecting, sweetheart...when you google it, just ignore the stuff about televisions and overheads, it'll just confuse you more).  Did our education system fail you, or do you just lack basic reading comprehension skills and the inability to understand what it is you are writing?

In case you missed it, that last bit was an insult.  Maybe when you learn the difference you won't have to cry like a baby on a message board and you can make real life friends.  Good luck!
