[MOD WIP] Stargate Invasion DIP 1.32 (released 10-25-11)

i dont know if this has been asked before there is 17n pages and that alot of reading so...
For like Sieging a planet like could we use like the Horizon for like a special siege ability.
Like in Season 3 "The Frist Strike" of Stargate Alantis.. it would be pretty cool to have that ability

even haveing the effect where sevral areas on the planet would have a nuke go off

I was thinking about nuke beaming and something that would make losing a high level cap. ship not as bad would be having the ability to train ships to level 10.
Anyway just a thought,

i was thinking that since each faction has its own siege type for the wraith have it where they fire muiltapul shots almost like ship to ship combot but like so it dosnt to like too much damage cuz like one wriath hive ship could desamate a planet...

+++ oh and i dont know if its possible but can u change artifacts.. if so is it like possible to make an artifact that defends the planet... mmm like an anceint outpost(like the one on earth) that fires drones from the planet at sieging ships(not the entire gravity well just like the closeset the ships can get to seiging... but just so more ideas that came to me while playing the game...

neways a small update from me

--currently updating the planet / star meshes to try and give a more realistic scale

-- adding moons !! lol

-- and some other stuff ^^

pictures etc will follow towards the end of the week

--Kosher -- although i am not 100% on this i am sure the artefacts should be changed and i think it could be possible to make it so you could get a drone platform but i doubt it would fire from the planet -- but dont hold me to what i have just said

Well everyone, I have decided to rebuild the Hive, again. The reason being is that my first two models, with the help of Lord_Set was good, but it wasnt perfect. After seeing the BC version of the Hive, I have taken the time to make a new model, and Im even using the textures, just slightly modified. I hope to get permission to use them for the mod, but until then I will keep my fingers crossed. Everyone will think that this might be the same model, but the BC version is 64,000 + a few, polies, mine is only 8779 polies. Enjoy.

@ bloodfang, I would have to talk to Derbal, who is away right now due to connection issues, but I think that might be possible.

You are thinking of the cruiser, just as kosher said.

No, they will not get an Aurora to build. If you do some searching around the systems, you just might get the chance to build them... and not be the Asurans.

(Although getting a BC-303 with those nice Asgard Plasma Beams and Railguns will more than make up for not knowing. I hope.)

we are in the middle of making new planets and moons and everything for the mod, so this wouldnt be necessary. Pics will come later.

If I remember right when you first started making the wraith based of the advent the shield color was green when attacked, o and the shield wasn't around the whole ship-

Btw I think that the psycho chick he was talking about is the one in the Aroura's vertural world that was really a wraith.

he said "those crazy people led by that psycho chick on that aurora" and that was Larin. Yeh, we sorted it out, atleast it looks like it. For the wraith though, I am going to see if I cal do sort of a skin shield so you cant really see the shield effect, as the Wraith technically dont have shields.

On another Hive note, I have worked on her plasma weapons a bit, here is a screenshot.
