I think most of them could be distributable in TGN. Heroes of Might & Magic I and II and Might & Magic I and II are available via TryGames, and those games were made in the mid-1990's. So, what's to stop TGN from selling them here (besides possible low demand)? I guess one problem might be making those games playable under Windows 2000 - Vista. Ubisoft owns the rights to those games, and they are listed as a TGN partner.

But the point of this thread is to tell TGN what games you would like to see in their store. So which ones would you like to see?

One of the few games on that list I've heard of is Battlezone. Are most of these abandonware titles?

A lot of them are older games that are no longer in production. Sacrifice is Circa 2001/2002 and I recognize a few of the games that are from that era. I like the idea, but I think I would like to see TG also get newer releases like Bioshock (and others) for example.

I remember commenting on the other thread mentioned once upon a time, but it seems a lot of publishers are now starting their own digital distribution or signing agreements like the ones some have with TGN. Bioshock is offered on Steam, so if they signed an exclusive agreement we wouldn't be able to see it on TGN. Any EA games are out due to them having their own digital store now also. It seems to be getting harder to pull good games in when the Publishers figure they'll just distribute it themselves.

I do like a lot of the Games offered by TGN, I just already had the best ones before finding them on there. I do keep a check every now and then to see what they add though.

To shiva7663: Check Wikipedia.org and game review sites regarding the games I mentioned.

From my observations, TGN distributes games from small and/or new developers from around the world. I like that. In my list above, I tried to mention games that match what I see in TGN's store. I know alot of the games I listed are older titles, but most people have never heard of them, and I feel they deserve a second chance.

I saw that TGN has Moonpod's Mr. Robot. I hope they sell Moonpod's Starscape, too. That game is fun!

I haven't tried the demos to Sigma Team's Alien Shooter series, yet. Has anyone else? Should TGN add it to their store?

I got the whole Alien Shooter series from Game Giveaway of the Day back a few months ago, and they were okay - not super replayable, but fun time wasters, to be sure.

Hi all! Thanks for the suggestions. I've been working on getting games from bigger publishers on the network, but it's been really slow going. I'm afraid that EA games are currently unattainable, since they keep their catalog exclusive to their own service.

I had hoped to sign Prof. Fizzwhizzle, but unfortunately it was signed as an exclusive to another service. We will be getting Starscape soon (I just haven't had time to put it online yet), however.

Yesterday I just posted two games from Lighthouse Interactive: Undercover - Operation Wintersun (an adventure game) and Avencast (brand new RPG). You can find them on our All Games or New Releases sections.

Has Sierra signed an exclusive contract with anyone? I think F.E.A.R. and any sequels would be good to see here. Sierra's World in Conflict would be a good addition, too. Some older titles from their library like Starsiege: Tribes 2, Ground Control II: Operation Exodus, and Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura are also winners (the last 2 I mentioned in my initial list, sorry.)

I've got a smaller developer to suggest, for TGN and for gamers who may be interested. ApeZone games (apezone.com) is a smaller, independent strategy game maker. It started with Starships Unlimited, which is actually quite well developed, including ship designer (not on the GC2 scale, but configuring parts and everything).

A lot of his views tend to meld pretty well with Stardock's philosophy (permanent access to a game after purchasing it, for example, and the decision that multiplayer just isn't worth the trouble at the moment).

Also, he has expressed interest in the past (and recently when I contacted him personally) in hosting his games on game portals. I don't know enough about how TG.N works compared to the other ones, but I threw your name out as a suggestion to him and he said he'd be interested in seeing what you have to offer, so, er, yeah, just a suggestion I guess. If you approach developers, keep him in mind. If you let developers approach you, he's got you in mind. If it works both ways, well, good luck to you
