I kinda miss the 1st version of

Rainbow 6.

That was really the only 1st person shooter I got into.

Me and a couple friends used to "Hot seat" the game. You get to fight til you get killed twice. Then it's the next persons turn.

Good times.

I think a considerable amount of pot & alcohol was involved, but I can't be sure.

If you can't be sure of that, it probably was - much in excess.

Mind altering chemicals aside, I agree with you. It seems that R6 has been de-evolved into a twitch based frag em type of game. I miss being able to plot out a route select my crew and customize their weapon. Raven Shield was probably the finest iteration they had IMO... After that its been all down hill.
